The Bank Note
Connecting with Shareholders of Alliance Bank Central Texas
March 2019
Message from Todd Moore
This week Alliance Bank Central Texas opened our fourth branch located in the corporate headquarters of Texas Farm Bureau (TFB). With more than 450 local employees, TFB is one of Waco’s largest and most prestigious employers. We are really excited to offer this “bank at work” concept to staff and their families, and the excitement is mutual. In just a few short days, we opened over 100 accounts—it was a deposit frenzy!
A shareholder once asked me, “If all of our 200+ shareholders had all of their banking business with Alliance and referred friends, family and business associates, just how big would we be?” The bank is currently over $300 million in assets. My guess is that we would double in size. Due to the high fixed costs in running a bank, efficiencies of scale are significant. Our earnings would probably triple, exponentially impacting the value of all of our stock.
As partners in the bank, we have much control over its success and value. Imagine what could happen if we created a “deposit frenzy” of shareholder deposits!
Please let us know how we can help. Remember, geography is not a barrier.
Farm Bureau Branch
Texas Farm Bureau employees now have the ease and flexibility of accessing a full service bank without leaving work. Alliance Bank acquired the assets of Texas Farm Bureau Credit Union, located at 7420 Fish Pond Road in Waco. This new full service branch joins four other branches located across Central Texas.
New Headquarters Update
Conveniently located in Woodway, the new two story headquarters will be home to 17,000 square feet of banking innovation, complete with full service teller pods, coffee bar, wi-fi and more. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest construction photos and more!
