Construction Corner
Spring storms may have dampened construction progress, but the site will soon start to look a bit different! Grade beams in the foundation were placed, and the slab is being as soon as this week. With a solid foundation in place, the steel structure will begin at the beginning of June.
Customer Experience Academy
Over the last few months, members of the bank’s management team have been working with Dr. Michael Godfrey, a Waco-based author and owner of True Course Executive Coaching, to create the Customer Experience Academy for bank employees. Bank employees were asked to apply for the year long program, which will study companies like Ritz Carlton, Nieman Marcus, Disney and others known for creating amazing customer experiences.
The financial services industry continues to change rapidly with the introduction of new technology and non-bank service providers. Over time, we expect customers to be able to open accounts and apply for our loans from the comfort of their home, using a fully digital experience. The academy will help ensure that our customers have a wonderful experience regardless of how they reach us. As more remote capabilities are introduced, it will be imperative that our staff identify opportunities to engage with customers, making sure their experience is amazing, even if they never have an in-person interaction with a member of our staff.
We are ecstatic to have nearly every department of the bank represented in the program. They will meet in monthly sessions facilitated by Dr. Godfrey. Using the tools they are equipped with, the group will analyze the bank’s processes and make recommendations to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
