Connecting with Shareholders of Alliance Bank Central Texas
December 2019
Message from Todd Moore
Relationships and referrals are the lifeblood of our business. And, studies have shown that people who are connected to others, and who have regular, healthy interactions with other human beings, enjoy better mental health. In short, they are just happier people.
I hope you will be able this Holiday Season to invest time in those relationships who make your life richer.
We really have some great folks here who just happen to be really good bankers. Please reach out and let us help you with whatever part of your banking business you do not have with us now. Not only can you make your investment in the bank grow by doing so, I bet you will make a new friend in the process.

Alliance Bank - In the Spotlight

Trimmers Lawn & Irrigation Service
Owners: Kevin and Michelle Hetherington
Trimmers Lawn & Irrigation Service was founded on a love of the outdoors. Now 30 years later, the company offers an array of commercial and residential lawn and landscape services throughout Central Texas and beyond. From lawn mowing to elaborate landscape and hardscape designs, and everything in between, owners Kevin and Michelle Hetherington are committed providing high quality, professional care. Customer satisfaction is a top priority, and their annual Christmas light display is one that sure won’t disappoint!
Q: When did Trimmers Lawn Service begin and what drew you to the lawn care service/maintenance industry?
It began in 1989 as a part time business and we expanded to full time in 1994. We knew this was the right path for us because Kevin loves being outside and working with his hands.
Q: What are your flagship services?
Lawn and landscape maintenance, landscape and irrigation design and installation. We also offer hardscaping, tree planting and removal outdoor lighting and decorative/stamped concrete services.
Q: What makes the customer service experience unique?
No matter the job, we make sure customer satisfaction is a top property. And when it comes to design, we understand that each project is uniquely its own. It’s exciting to work with customers to create a personalized plan specific to their needs.
Q: What growth has the business seen?
When the company started, we only serviced Waco and surrounding communities. Now we travel all over the state doing large landscaping jobs.
Q: What keeps you energized about going to work each day?
We love what we do! And, we are blessed with great employees.
Q: Shifting gears, you are also well known for your Christmas light display. When did you start doing the light display and who is the mastermind behind it all?
We started 8 or 9 years ago. It is all Kevin’s vision and creativity. We add something special each year, so it keeps growing. With planning and execution, it’s basically year round affair. Setting up 500,000 lights across two acres and choreographing it with music is no small feat! But, the joy it brings to us and so many others makes it worth it.
