The Bank Note - February 2020

Connecting with Shareholders of Alliance Bank Central Texas

FEBRUARY 2020

Message from Todd Moore

There is a lot going on at your bank, and in this month’s newsletter!

Last Thursday we had our annual shareholders’ meeting. The slide presentation and minutes are available here.  As we told the group, when we purchased the State Bank of Jewett we were a $35,000,000 in assets.  We ended 2019 at $325,000,000. Looking back strategically in a five year window, the bank’s net income in 2014 was $503,000. This past year we made $2,100,000.  In January this year our one month’s operating profit was $257,000. Five years ago it was $34,000.  Actual operating profit was $298,000 before deducting one time income items. Net income after tax was $242,000, the most profitable in our history.

Please see the “2019 Accomplishments and Moving Forward in 2020” section for a brief summary of what we have been working on this past year.

We will move into our new headquarters on March 16. There will be a ribbon cutting celebration on March 24 you won’t want to miss. That location has the highest visibility and traffic counts in our county, and the facility will help us maintain a healthy growth path for many years to come.

Our staff is excited about the opportunities and convenience the new location will bring, for new customers as well as existing ones. And, we are very optimistic and passionate about executing our business model and what lies ahead for the bank this year.

Please come by to see us at both locations. Refer friends, partners, family members and those whom you influence.  That is how we grow the bank and we need your help! Let us know if we can help you in any way, with banking or otherwise. As a number of our staff have said on many occasions, “It’s what we do.”

If you haven’t already, please go to our Alliance Bank Central Texas Facebook page. Like it, Share it, and repeat!

About Alliance Bank Central Texas

Alliance Bank Central Texas is a community bank founded by a local board of directors, owned by a diverse group of over 200 shareholders, and operated by seasoned bankers, most of whom have spent their entire careers in Waco.  In less than ten years it has seen assets grow from $35 million to over $300 million. The bank is focused on helping entrepreneurs, professionals and residents, and understands the condition of the local market.  It feels real value is created through people connecting personally with their bankers, versus simply having transactions with a bank. Alliance Bank Central Texas provides a full range of financial services including business, personal and mortgage loans.  It also provides a variety of deposit products and services including commercial, personal and certificates of deposits along with electronic banking, mobile deposit and cash management services.
