The Bank Note - June 2019
Connecting with Shareholders of Alliance Bank Central Texas
June 2019
Message from Todd Moore
Over the last few months we have observed that many of the new deposit customers say they found us through positive online reviews. We have always built our business primarily through personal referrals because traditional marketing channels, such as TV, radio and print ads, prove to be cost prohibitive relative to the return on investment. And, it is difficult to define market penetration and results.
Social media provides a platform for connection and two-way communication in revolutionary ways, with minimal cost and concrete metrics. As we continue to evaluate each touchpoint we have with customers, we are taking new steps to leverage the power of social media to engage customers, build the bank’s brand and drive business. And, wow! Within hours of an employee training kickoff, the bank’s Facebook followers jumped from 190 to 658, and is now over 1,000 and counting. Think about all of the connections being made!
Please post your experience with our bank on Facebook or Google and help us grow your bank and your investment! It’s one of the best ways to refer us to the world, and the world is watching. Tell your friends, family, colleagues and business associates about the bank. We have a great team of bankers who are working hard to make your experience here the best it can be. Help us spread the word!
If you haven’t already, please go to our Alliance Bank Central Texas Facebook page. Like it, Share it, and repeat!
Have a great summer!

Texas Bankers Association: Texas Tour
President Todd Moore, EVP Tanner Moore and EVP Scott Rogers recently attended Texas Bankers Association’s Texas Tour, a luncheon where TBA staff members provided a legislative update following the conclusion of the most recent session of the Texas Legislature.
ABCT is proud of our bankers’ involvement in the organization, which is the largest and oldest state banking trade association in the United States. EVP Moore will serve as Vice Chair of the Bank Leadership Council, and EVP Rogers was recently appointed to the Community Bankers Council. Both serve as members of the Future of Banking Task Force, which was formed last year to analyze trends in the banking industry and make recommendations to community banks as to how they can effectively compete with emerging technologies.
Construction Corner
The foundation is firm and has been topped out with the steel structure. It won't be long before these pictures will look less like a construction site and more like the home of our new headquarters!

About Alliance Bank Central Texas
Alliance Bank Central Texas is a community bank founded by a local board of directors, owned by a diverse group of over 200 shareholders, and operated by seasoned bankers, most of whom have spent their entire careers in Waco. In less than ten years it has seen assets grow from $35 million to over $300 million. The bank is focused on helping entrepreneurs, professionals and residents, and understands the condition of the local market. It feels real value is created through people connecting personally with their bankers, versus simply having transactions with a bank. Alliance Bank Central Texas provides a full range of financial services including business, personal and mortgage loans. It also provides a variety of deposit products and services including commercial, personal and certificates of deposits along with electronic banking, mobile deposit and cash management services.
