Growth & Technology
We have experienced exciting growth over the years—expanding from one branch to five branches and six buildings across Central Texas—establishing strong customer relationships along the way. Technology and internet based applications have allowed us to continue our growth, reaching customers in new ways from the comfort of their home, office or when on the go. As technology continues to rapidly change the financial industry, customers are accessing the bank through different channels, giving us a unique opportunity to ensure that each customer touchpoint is a great experience.

Customer Experience
Building relationships, loyalty and excellent customer experiences are still key to the growth and success of the bank. We want you to be excited about your banking experience. We want you to talk about your bank with friends, family and colleagues. We want you to recommend our services and products. While a digital banking experience may look and even feel different than traditional face to face interactions, we remain committed to delivering excellent customer experiences, no matter how customers reach us.

Our inaugural Customer Experience Academy team is hard at work evaluating processes across the organization and identifying tools and techniques that will  empower employees to create excellent customer experiences at every touchpoint. We are excited to see how the team’s recommendations will  enhance customer satisfaction as we work to not only meet, but also exceed customers’ expectations.  How can we enhance your banking experience? Send us an email, give us a call, shoot us a text or come see us. We have an amazing team of bankers who are committed to making your banking experience as exceptional one!

We are pleased to announce that Jeff Wooley was elected to the Alliance Bank Central Texas Board of Directors effective July 17. Jeff is currently the majority shareholder of the local franchise of D1 Training, a non-traditional fitness training facility that was named a Top 30 Gym by Men’s Health Magazine.

He previously spent almost 23 years with Allen Samuels Auto Group (ASAG) in roles ranging from CFO, General Counsel, President and CEO to Shareholder. Jeff and two partners purchased ASAG from its founder, Allen Samuels, in 2005 and the group operated as many as twelve automotive dealerships across the state of Texas. Jeff is a life-long resident of Waco. He graduated from Reicher Catholic High School and received his Eagle Scout from Boy Scouts of American in 1979. Jeff is both an attorney and a CPA having received his BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and his JD from South Texas College of Law. Midas Service Center

Services: Full service auto care from oil changes to engines and everything  in between, including expert brake repair, scheduled maintenance, tires and more.

Beginning in 1956, Midas Service Center has a long-standing reputation of providing quality service that customers trust. As a franchise owner of stores in Waco and Harker Heights, Eric Murry is committed to continuing that tradition of service, quality and reliability in our community.

Midas started in Macon, Georgia in the 50’s as a muffler shop. It now boasts over 1,300 franchised shops in the U.S., Canada and countries across the world. Midas mechanics are known for their expertise in the field. Because of the hard work and dedication of Eric Murry and his team in Waco and Harker Heights, Central Texans have access to quality car care they can trust.

Q: What drew you to ownership of a Midas franchise?  I moved to Waco from Temple in 1991 to manage Hilo Auto Supply. I met the owners of Midas and began managing the Waco shop in 1995. About 12 years later they were ready to retire and gave me the opportunity to buy the business from them. I was excited about having the ability to expand my customer base and grow the business.

Q: What makes the customer service experience at your store unique? If we had a special ingredient to customer service, it would be my manager, Christine. She has been part of our Midas team for 19 years and she goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. She makes sure customers understand the diagnosis and repair recommendations. We want our customers to feel good about doing business Midas and she is a big part of that.

Q: Over the years, what growth has your business seen?  And,  what changes have you seen? Our team has diligently worked to reach and maintain retail sales growth. We take customer service very seriously which has allowed us to also increase our customer base. I am proud of the care we offer our customers and grateful they keep giving us the opportunity to take care of their maintenance and repair needs.

Technology! Technology changes everything. Enhanced technology allows us to better care for our customers, so we stay diligent about learning what is new out there. It’s a win-win.

Q: What keeps you energized about going to work each day? Our customers! I really love our customers. I enjoy problem solving and helping people, and let’s face it—when cars aren’t working properly, they can definitely be a problem!

Q: And finally, when you are not at the shop, what are your favorite pastimes? I love Baylor sports, golfing, hunting, fishing, riding my Road King and spending time with my family: my lovely wife, Glorianna, our four kids, seven grandchildren and of course our fur babies, Coffee, Harley, Sammie, Shakespear, Big Jim and Callie Cat (4 dogs and 2 cats!)

Construction Corner

Concrete on the second floor was poured early morning July 13. With finishing the exterior framing and continuing work on the roof, roof trusses, mechanical structure and ductwork, it will be a "very busy job site over the next few weeks," said Mike Denio, Site-Superintendent for Built Wright Construction.

Customer Appreciation

It was great seeing many of our customers in the drive through and lobby with yummy hot dogs and refreshing drinks for our annual Customer Appreciation Day. We love our customers and love getting to say "we appreciate you" in such a special way!
